Applications
In general, to be used for applications where highest water resistance is required such as swimming pools, fitness centres and underground joints. The drying time of Primer P87 at +20°C is at least 60 minutes. Latest 4 hours after primer application, the application of sealants or adhesives has to be performed. After longer drying times the surface should be controlled for cleanness. Primer P87 can also be used as blocking primer on bituminous substrates. For less absorbent substrates we recommend to dilute Primer P87 with Xylol up to 25% or use Primer 83. Primer P87 is moisture sensitive. Immediately close the canister after use. May leave stains which are difficult to remove from the substrate. Do not wait until residues are dried up; remove and wipe off immediately.

General information
Generally, primers should be applied in thin layers onto substrates that are clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Before sealant application, the solvent content from the primer has to be evaporated. The indicated drying times are to be respected. Most primers contain inflammable solvents and are moisture-sensitive. It is recommended to close the containers immediately after application.
Storage
Keep primers out of reach of children. Primers are flammable and should be stored in original packaging in well ventilated and dry rooms. Take further safety information from the security data sheet (SDS) and the label on the packaging. We make attentive that adhesion promoters where necessary, are a component of the adhesive system.
